My Thoughts
Jed is a boy that has it all.  He is popular, has the perfect girlfriend, and is comes from money.  All is right in his world until he makes a decision that will change his life forever.
It seems that Jed has the right type to become a pale.  Pales are people who when given the Lazarus Serum shortly after death, have the power to reanimate.
The world that these now colorless undead find themselves is a hostile one indeed, and this new underclass is the target of the day.
When Jed is killed after pushing his girlfriend out of the path of an oncoming car.
Can he live life on the other side?

This novella is clearly a case of "How do you like them apples?"  Jed is the popular kid who has it all and as a result he is blind to the suffering of others.  He sits on a "high horse" and is even the cause of some of the afore mentioned suffering.
Until, he finds himself on the other side of things.
KARMA
The troubling part of this read comes when he contemplates turning is girlfriend.
This story is far to short to effectively address the myriad of issues it sets before readers and it leaves one with a rather inconvenient cliff-hanger.
