But can the Boyfriend App bring Audrey true love? -Goodreads
It is very refreshing to see mew ideas being put forward for public perusal in the genre of Contemporary YA. Especially when said ideas comprise a book that is as well written as Katie Sise's "The Boyfriend App".
Audrey McCarthy is a girl that you will love...for her brain. The pretty girl who is also shy and a little awkward; Audrey is not trying to be ANYTHING that she is not. What she is trying to do is use the computer skills she learned from her late father to build her future.
In order to be the girl on top, Audrey must compete with other students, the specter of the scandal surrounding her father's death, the loss of her best friend Blake, the deceit of big business, and her own insecurities.
Surrounded by her friends and supported by the boy that she loves; readers laugh, cry, and hope their way through Audrey's David and Goliath story.
