Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Can you love someone too much?
Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.
In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.
Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes. -Goodreads
This has got to be the easiest review ever.
If you have read the first book in this series, "Beautiful Diaster", you will have fallen in love with the story of Travis and Abby.
If that is the case...
You will react to this second book in one of two ways:
1. You will be intrigued because you loved the first book and would like to see it through the eyes of Travis,
2. You will have love the first book, but have no interest in hearing it retold almost word for word by Travis.
If however, you have not read either story...you are the luckiest duck in the pond. You get to choose!
Girl version = Beautiful Disaster
Boy version = Walking Disaster
Do I smell a bind up here?
This would have been a 5 star read if it were not for the fact that having read "Beautiful Disaster" first, I was fully aware that the same story is being told twice.
This in no way means that "Walking Disaster" is any less the story than it's predecessor.
Just the same.
