My ThoughtsThis book is a star of both the YA genre and Atlantis like settings. Evelyn Winters, Daughter of the People, sheltered princess, unwitting pawn, and...
There is so much going on with this young lady that you can't take your eyes off of her for a second.
Add to that Gavin Hunter, from the surface...and let the games begin.
This entire book is one beautifully constructed hedge maze, filled with plot twists, shadow operatives, and lies, lies, lies.
The key to the success of this story line lies in the fact that it is constructed in the form of a puzzle. A puzzle that readers get to solve along with the characters. A puzzle that when solved shows a picture that neither reader nor character expected to see.
You are never sure who to trust, and therefore, are always on edge.
As if the breakneck pace and expertly crafted story are not enough; Miss Souders manages to further endear her Gavin and Evie to readers through the subplot of their budding romance.
Action, adventure, underwater world, intrigue, lies, and love!
This book has it all!
To make matters even better...there is going to be a book 2!
