out his alpha tendencies. But with affection comes admission, putting a
strain on their relationship as secrets are exposed and unforeseen
circumstances spiral out of control.
Being complete opposites, their love is flaming hot, but it burns away
all inhibitions, unveiling the fears that were locked deep inside. As
past and present collide, difficult choices must be made. Can Autumn and
Hunter’s love survive this ultimate test?
My Thoughts
Hunter and Autumn have to be two of the sexiest characters alive.
This second installment of Clarissa Wilde's Fierce series,
runs just as hot as the first.
One would think that after all of the excitement
of Fierce,
the stakes or the passion couldn't run any higher or burn any brighter
for these two love birds.
One would be wrong!
The storyline in Flame takes a decidedly more personal turn on all fronts,
as readers are introduced not only to Hunter's brother, Jessie, but Autumn's parents.
There is a definite progression in book two.
The relationship between Autumn and Hunter has gone from tentative and playful,
to scorching and complex.
Both Autumn and Hunter are allowing the other into their worlds and hearts,
and though its not always pretty,
it is quite clear that they are both playing for keeps this time.
This is a very raw book!
The characters are, or could easily be people that readers know and love.
Author Clarissa Wilde further pushes the envelope by addressing very relevant "hot button"
issues in her writing.
Here's the short list:
Self Esteem
Adult Learning Disabilities
Sexual Awakening
GBLT Relationships
Self Acceptance
This is a definite must read!
After book one...of course!
