Three months have passed since then, and now Elly is primed for what promises to be the best wedding season of her life.
Helped by her loyal friends, Elly is on the verge of opening a chic flower boutique uptown when BlissBride, a popular wedding reality show, asks her to design the wedding of a famous—make that infamous--celebrity. Elly is about to get everything she’s ever wanted, when a stranger shows up at her store with a request that changes every aspect of her life--including her budding relationship with deli owner Keith. As she struggles to stay calm in the midst of growing chaos, Elly will learn the true meaning of love and sacrifice.
Filled with the heart, humor, and horticulture that made Elly in Bloom a bestseller, Elly in Love welcomes readers back to Elly’s big, beautiful, and messy life.

After carefully averting disasters on both the home and floral fronts, in Elly In Bloom. The fact that her life and love has taken a significant upswing this time around, is enough to have Elly, and the readers who love her breathing a collectictive sigh of relief.
Readers better heave those sighs quickly!
Our beloved and beleaguered heroine soon finds herself at the center of so many of life's storms, that it is a wonder that a tropical depression hasn't been named in her honor.
With Elly providing a stalwart and immutable touchstone, Elly In Bloom is a story driven by an eclecticly colorful cast of supporting players, and unexpected, often comedic plot twists.
The set-up versus resolution ratio of this read is a rather imbalanced 60/40; the lion's share causing a marked lag in the plot at around 35% (Kindle approximation)
With nary a sex scene to be had. The romantic action is limited to relatively tame episodes of kissing and dinners between Elly and her leading man.
Given that that the tried and true romantic go to's of sex and and steamy love scenes are a no go for this tale; this title lends itself more to the genre of Women's Fiction, rather than that of Romance.
Authoress Colleen Oaks relies more so on situational drama and "it could happen to you" plot scenarios to appeal to her audiences.
There is also a quite beautiful "happily ever after bow" at book's end.
Elly In Bloom is a very sweet, clean, feel good read. Just right for the beach, or any book lover looking to stop and smell the literary roses.
This book may be enjoyed as a stand alone or as part of its intended series.
