My Thoughts

Lady Violet Everly has never forgotten the one fateful meeting between herself and Lord Weirick Andrews, Marquis of Denton. After having involuntarily accosted with her errant kite. And she can't seem to shake the feeling that he is the one for her.

Even after the passing of four seasons, his leaving the continent for parts unknown, and the threat of staunch unwillingness to marry dooming her to the "shelf" for good.

Time is known to be a healer of all wounds. At least for some. But in the case of Weirick, now the Duke of Selbounre. Time and a case of "fighting dirty", has served to create far more wounds than it seems can ever be mended.

Enter fate...

And the house party that brings Violet and Weirick face to face with the past they shared, and the future that they might.

If Weirick can bring himself to believe that he is more than his title and his tragedy.

This book is one for the ladies. Meaning that it is the her in hero that gets to do all the saving.

Violet has an honesty, and "ride or die" true love for her leading man, that not even his mother can deny.

It is so much fun seeing her dismantle Weirick's defenses brick by brick. With the help of his family, no less.
