My Thoughts
Vita and Tom's story is one that captures the heart  from the first chapter.
You want so much for the both of them to succeed.
At both improving their lots in life and the world.
Even though blatant bigotry and institutionalized  hatred that they both face.
Both within their respective communities and withou.
Is almost overwhelming.
This book has all the secrets of any cloak and dagger.
All the romance of Romeo And Juliet .
And...
All of the swagger of the best historical gang
ster flix.

Narration Review
Nina Price's smokey tones and rough around the edges brogue gives a life and authenticity to Vita that makes her 'jump off the pages real".
This is a trait that she applies to all characters great or small.
Working to create a community of people that the reader becomes a part of as the story unfolds.
With the voices and cadences of often heard voices becoming as familiar to the reader as those heard in his or her daily life.
Bravo.
