My Thoughts
"Effortless" takes readers further into the story of Kiera and Kellan.  Things are changing for the two lovebirds in new and exciting ways, but the ghosts of old hurts and betrayals still manage to lurk in the shadows.
It has been a year since "Thoughtless".  Kiera and Kellan are stronger than ever it appears.  Chinks quickly start to appear in the couple's armor when the opportunity of a lifetime for Kellan force the couple to part.
Can their love bear the wight of the distance?
Who will be the first break?

This is a very "sexy" book.  The passion that Kiera and Kellan share is one of the biggest draws of the read.  Though the love that this couple has for each other borders on codependency, given their ages and all that they have been through; the story reads very true to life.  Though the book hints at Kellan's being most likely to drop the ball in the relationship; Kiera becomes one to watch as the story progresses.
This story was not just about K&K however,  This time around there were some jaw dropping revelations involving Kiera's sister and a certain "very annoying" member of Kellan's band.  There are also important reconciliations for Kellan.
This is a very good second book.  The somewhat predictable plot for K&K is very nicely off set by happenings in the lives of other characters in the story.  There is a lot more "happy" in this read compared to it's predecessor and there is even a nice "happily ever after" bow waiting at book's end.
