Missing Him
It sounds weird and self-pittying to say this, but I miss my husband. I see himeveryday,
yet he’s been so absent. I hear him getting out of bed almost every
night, and he sneaks downstairs. Sometimes, he takes the annoying
cardboard box with him. I just want to know what he’s doing. It scares
me, you know? And I’m sure it would scare any other woman to see their
husband leave the bedroom in the middle of the night with an empty box.
What’s he filling it with? Is he planning on moving out? Does he have a
stash of boxes somewhere that I don’t know about, and he’s slowly moving
out a few items at a time?
I just wish I knew.
I
wish I knew Robbie. Lately he hasn’t been himself. I know losing his
job was hard on him, but I just wish he wouldn’t take it out on me and
the kids. It’s not fair.
Is
he inflicting pain on himself? It’s possible. He’s been getting these
bruises and scratches on his arms and legs that he thinks I don’t know
about. What is so wrong with his life that causes him to do this to
himself? To hurt himself, and distance himself from his family?
I’m
sorry, blog world, for burdening you with this pathetic rambling. I
know no one reads this except a few people from India (whom I’m thankful
for). But if anyone has any idea or any tips on how to win my husband
back, please tell me.
He
also doesn’t seem to care very much that I’m sick. I don’t want to be a
burden to him, and I certainly have no intention to remind him of my
cancer, but I just wish he’d care, you know? I mean, he’s my husband! I
shouldn’t have to stand on the sidelines and wait for him to show some
compassion.
Anyway,
let me know your thoughts. I’d be grateful. Also, if anyone knows how
to keep centipedes out of the house, please let me know.
